Mosstown Riding Centre

David Harrison from Mosstown, Kenagh has had a lifetime interest in horses, having been involved in a wide range of equestrian activities - from breaking and training horse to assisting with childrens pony camps. It is through this involvement in equestrian activities that David identified the need for an indoor equestrian facility that could accommodate a wide range of equestrian and other events. It is the first of its kind in the county and comprises an all-weather facility enabling riding classes, showjumping practice and events that can be held at any time of day, at any time of year. The arena has been approved by the Association of Irish Riding Establishments (AIRE) and the facility is also Bord Failte approved, with a highly experienced full-time and part-time instructors employed. Horses are also available for hire for hunting and the facility can be rented for show jumping competitions and practice. There is also an outdoor arena available.
